We’d like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to you all and introduce you to Tyntesfield PTA. We are fortunate at Tyntesfield to have a friendly and welcoming PTA which is an integral part of the school community.
We are a registered charity and the main function of the PTA is to support the school by raising as much money as we can to enhance, enrich and improve learning experiences and facilities for the children, an example of this is the new school library that the PTA contributed to last academic year. We also provide those 'little extras' that make our school even more memorable, such as the annual inflatables day at the end of the school year.
Our aim is to bring the school community and home closer together for our families to be more involved in the life of their school.
Lastly, we’re here for the simple reason that we want to get together socially, meet new people and have fun!
Who We Are
The PTA is run by a committee who are all volunteers and supported by parents and carers who generously give up their time to plan and run our events. All parents are members of the PTA and we’d love it if you could come along to our half-termly meetings to see what it’s all about.

Why we do it:
The PTA helps provide for and supports the school by hosting community events where people can come together and also by raising thousands of pounds every year to enable our children to and that money is spent on resources for the children. Over the last few years our fundraising has enabled us to provide:
• A £10,000 contribution to the building of the new library
• Book bags for the Reception children
• Library books for every class
• £10,000 worth of new playground equipment
• Resources for the Early Years’ classes
• Gifts for the Year 6 leavers …to name but a few!
