We are very excited to have created our very own School Pupil Parliament which consist of 5 departments:
- Department for Education and Equality
- Home Office
- Department for the Environment
- Department for Digital Culture
- Department for Health and Sport
The children apply for a department of their choice and then go through the democratic election process to determine who will represent each department.
Each Department meets twice per half term and a full Parliament is held once every term. Departments work with the Year 6 Prefects who will act as the Civil Service.
Our Pupil Parliament educates the children in the democratic system of our country whilst providing them with a meaningful way in which our children can further voice their opinions and continue to have their views taken into account in decisions which impact upon them.
