Welcome to our Reception classes at Tyntesfield.  We have 60 children in two classes with a shared creative area and a fantastic outdoor space.  Children are encouraged to explore and use all areas of the EYFS environment.  Every week we go out to ‘the woods’ at the end of the field for Woody Wanderers sessions where we learn about the natural environment, build, climb, dig and play.

We feel privileged to be part of such an important year in your child’s life and to start them off on their journey through Tyntesfield.  Throughout the year, we will create exciting learning opportunities that are inspired by the children’s interests to enable them to grow and develop.  We encourage the children to value their independence and to take pleasure in tackling new challenges.
