Hello and welcome to 5RM. My name is Miss Mealor and I am excited to support the children as we begin our time in the Upper Juniors. Mrs Bailey is our wonderful TA who will be supporting us in English and Maths each morning and is really looking forward to spending time in our class. In 5RM we aim to create an environment that promotes the love of learning, inspiring them to be confident, curious and inquisitive learners.

In Year 5, we have some very exciting topics throughout the year both inside and outside the classroom. We delve into the fascinating Early Islamic Civilisation, become climate activists during our Climate Change topic and get lost in Space during Science. We are continuing to develop our outdoor skills in Woody Wanderers and lots more.

It’s going to be a fantastic year and I look forwards to the year ahead of us.
