Year 5 is an exciting year as move into the Upper Juniors and challenge ourselves to grow our brains! We strive to develop ourselves as independent learners, whilst valuing collaborative learning in the classroom.

In 5JK we make the most of every opportunity to learn, we have some very interesting topics to delve into both inside and outside of the classroom. This year we will explore the outdoors in Woody Wanderers, and dive into our Swimming sessions. We will use our investigation skills to discover Early Islamic Civilisations in History; look to

the stars as we explore Earth and Space in Science; and return closer to home to become climate activists as we look at Climate Change in Geography. Year 5 is going to be the best thing since sliced bread…which we will be baking during DT in Summer term. We have a busy year ahead of us and we cannot wait to share this journey, with fun and laughter along the way!
