Welcome to Class 3M!

My name is Mr Matta and I am so excited to be teaching you this year.

After many years of working in a different profession I realised that my absolute passion was helping children to develop and grow in the school environment. I am so lucky to be able to do this at the Bollin.

I am a very active person and I like to introduce as much physical activity as possible into the school day. I believe this has lots of positive benefits for our learning as well as our health and wellbeing.

I will do my absolute best to inspire my class and to make learning fun, inclusive and engaging. All I ask is that everyone tries their best from the moment that they step into my classroom.

Hi everyone! My name is Mrs. Yates, and I am thrilled to welcome you to your first year in the Juniors at Tyntesfield. We have an exciting year ahead, filled with learning, challenges, and lots of fun.

In 3LY, we are lucky to have a fantastic team of teaching assistants supporting us. In the mornings, Mrs. Jones will join us for our English and Maths lessons. In the afternoons, Mrs. Bailey and Mrs. Etchells, will be with us as we dive into our topics.

Our classroom is a safe space where we learn and grow together. We believe in the power of kindness and are inspired by Aesop’s words: “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

This year, we will explore the fascinating topics Extreme Earth, Ancient Civilisations, and Protecting our Oceans. Each topic will take us on a new adventure, sparking curiosity and a love for learning.

In 3LY, we value respect, responsibility, and resilience. These values guide us every day as we work hard, support each other, and strive to be the best we can be.
