Subjects Taught
The National Curriculum and our own curriculum policy statements provide us with the framework for our work at Tyntesfield School. For each subject, the National Curriculum sets out Programmes of Study related to the three Key Stages in the primary school.
Foundation Subjects: History, Geography, Religious Education (RE), Art and Design, Design and Technology, Music, Physical Education (PE), Personal Health and Social Education (PHSE), Spanish
Core Subjects: Literacy, Numeracy, Science, ICT
Early Years Foundation Stage is from 3 to 5 (Nursery and Reception)
Infants (Key Stage 1) is from age 5 to 7 (Years 1 and 2)
Juniors (Key Stage 2) is from age 7 to 11 (Years 3 to 6)
