Tyntesfield is a Local Authority Primary School catering for children between the ages of 3 and 11. The school, which was opened in 1968, is pleasantly situated in its own wooded grounds just off Washway Road. There are ten classrooms in the main building and three classrooms in the new building.
 
We have our own Nursery Unit catering for 3 year olds on a part time basis.
 
The main school entrance hall is our Junior Library area and there is also an Infant Library area. The main school hall is used for assemblies, P.E. and for lunches. We have our own kitchen on site to provide school lunches.
 
The playground is to the rear of the building and we have an extensive school field and surrounding wooded areas...
